This one year QQI Level 6 course offers students and excellent opportunity to further develop their artistic skills and creativity in a caring and professional environment. This course enables participants to prepare an Advanced Portfolio in the field of Art and Design. The aim of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to competently work independently in a fine art and design context or to progress to higher education and training.

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Relevant QQI Level 5 Award:

  • 5M1984 Art and Design (MBC)
  • 5M1984 Art (MBC)
  • Other Relevant Level 5 Award
  • A Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent

All mature students (23+) are welcome to apply

QQI Certification

On successful completion of the course, candidates who reach the required standard will receive the following awards:

  • QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Art (6M4029)
